  • I’m a big pizza eater and I’m thinking about trying to make a pie at home. This article just came out and it’s all about how to do it. I’ll tell you how it goes. Anybody have any good pizza recipes?

Here’s some pictures from my Frozen Pizza challenge. It went so well that I decided, maybe I should try to make my own!

So….which pizza won the challenge? :)

  • Freschetta and digiorno garlic crust are good so is red baron personal ones. You should see my freezer, its sad

  • Dont really care for frozen pizza, but california kitchen is excellent, the 4cheese is my favorite.

  • One of the craziest parties we ever had was when we had make your own pizza night. Nothing beats Zesto’s from Nebraska.

  • Head to the local grocer or Super Walmart and grab yourself a pilsbury ready to bake pizza dough. While you are there, Id suggest you pick up the following:
    Pasta Sauce
    Cookie sheet
    Cheese blend
    Mushrooms
Pre-cooked chicken breast or steak strips
    Onion or Pepper

    My tips:
Roll out the dough carefully, you dont want to tear it.
Only spread a thin layer of sauce on the dough, too much sauce = soggy pizza
When using a cookie sheet, add 2 minutes to bake time, those things are insulators – not conductors.
Try other sauces, like BBQ or teriyaki, when you wanna mix it up.

  • Yummy! ;)

  • Way too much fun – get ready to make pizza dough – roll out gently – use your fav sauce, add little olive oil (tastes better) add cheese OR – fresh diced tomaties, fresh basil, chicken and cheese or whatever meat you like and bake – AWESOME (try marinating your chicken in burbon and use – great flavor)

Your next venture should be hoagies – gotta try one from Phil and Jims

    (Who’s dog?? cute)

  • Awesome, glad I’m not the only one who cares this much about pizza. It’s good to have standards, right?
